Is there a new Pope yet? – White Smoke! Habemus papam – Francis I
Is there a new Pope yet? - White Smoke! His Name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio Chooses the name - Pope Francis I Watch Live http://mediastream.vatican.va/mpeg4lan.sdp White smoke: Cardinals elect new pope on fifth ballot VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- To the delighted surprise of many, clouds of white smoke poured from the chimney on the roof of the Sistine Chapel March 13, indicating a pope had been elected on the conclave's fifth ballot. The smoke signal went off at 7:05 p.m. The 115 cardinals gathered to elect the 266th successor of Peter had taken one vote late March 12 and two votes the next morning, resulting in clouds of black smoke. The Vatican estimated it would be about an hour before Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, the top-ranking cardinal deacon, would come out onto the [...]
Open Letter to South Carolina Voters, GayPatriot Readers and GOProud Members
Via Gay Patriot It is with mixed feelings that I announce my resignation this morning from the gay conservative group GOProud that I helped found in 2009. I was recently elected Vice Chairman of the organization in order to concentrate on expanding GOProud’s chapters and grassroots strength nationwide. Last week, speculation grew in South Carolina and on social media outlets about my interest in challenging incumbent US Senator Lindsey Graham who has been in Congress for 18 years. In the spirit of transparency and honesty, I informed my fellow GOProud board members that I could not dedicate the time to the organization while I seriously considered the effort it will take to challenge Senator Graham in the 2014 Primary. I felt it best to resign from GOProud in advance of the [...]
Did Obama Cheat? Lost in all 15 states with Voter ID laws, with Weak laws he had 90% turnout
There are 15 states with photo ID requirements for voting. Mr. Obama lost in all of them. In places with the weakest controls, specifically counties in Florida, Ohio, Colorado, and Pennsylvania, he generally drew turnouts in the 90% or greater range and won by better than 95% of the vote. Losers tend to look for external explanations, and a lot of conservatives looking at numbers like those from Florida's St. Lucie County (where Mr. Obama got 247,713 votes from only 175,554 registered voters) are starting to question the legitimacy of the electoral results as reported. That's not good news for democracy, because the system works only if we trust it -- and having a majority in the GOP write off a minority who think the results were rigged serves nobody. Not even Democrats. So [...]

Emerging conflicts in Philadelphia voting districts
By Doc Vega Here on election day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by morning already there were noted inconsistencies and irregularities. Some 70 Republican voting officials were banned from voting sites by Democratic members. In one case a Republican was physically shoved out of the polling facility. A judge issued an order to allow Republican voting officials into these polling facilities escorted by sheriff’s deputies if necessary. This is very typical of liberal intimidation tactics used in the past. Unusual for such a large number of Republicans to be harassed One local voting official admitted that for so many Republican voting officials to be kicked out of polling places at once was rare even for Philadelphia. Still, this is not acceptable behavior for a fair and [...]
Unlikely Romney will win Nevada – early voting Democrats have 50K lead
UPDATE: Statewide totals in. 700,000-plus have voted already. Doubt more than 1 million in all will vote. Democrats have a 48,000-vote lead. A remarkable effort on the last day of early voting in Clark County by the Democrats pushed their lead above the 70,000 mark while another close day in Washoe left that county essentially even. I will dive deeper into the numbers for premium subscribers Sunday, but bottom line: The credible polls on both sides would have to be wrong -- i.e. Romney would have to win independents by a large margin -- for him to win Nevada. This is why registration matters, folks. That 90,000-voter lead for the Democrats could save them from a devastated economy and the president's negatives. Team Romney's spin has been that GOP turnout is up from '08 (it is, but [...]
Early Voting in Nevada has Democrats worried – Election data
UPDATE NO. 2 So I have data that quantifies how the GOP did so well in early voting Monday. Take a look at this chart: Site Dem NP Rep Total Margin Sun City Aliante 618 317 713 1648 -95 Desert Vista 543 328 981 1852 -438 Moapa Valley 252 185 834 1271 -582 Boulder City 533 288 920 1741 -387 Sun City Anthem 461 353 822 1636 -361 Total 2407 1471 4270 8148 -1863 So the Republicans crushed the Democrats in conservative oldsterville and rural LDSville, where the early voting sites are Monday and Tuesday. I'd expect [...]
GALLUP: Romney Up 7 Points Among Early Voters
Democrats have always touted their ground game and ability to get out the vote during early voting. They made similar comments about the Wisconsin Recall election and related that it was a dry run for the General Election. That was until Governor Scott Walker won by a seven point margin. Well it appears, according to Gallup, that early voting is not going the Democrats way. Gallup shows a Republican lead among early voters where Romney leads Obama 52%-45%. Very early on, before this campaign started in earnest, live or die, I publicly cast my lot with Gallup and Rasmussen. As a poll addict going back to 2000, these are the outlets that have always played it straight. It's got nothing to do with politics and everything to do with credibility and not wanting to kid myself. So [...]
3 people indicted for felony vote fraud in Ohio
Three Franklin County residents face felony charges of voter fraud after the Board of Elections reported that they had voted more than once in a past election. Each was indicted yesterday by a Franklin County grand jury on one count of illegal voting. They are accused of voting twice by casting absentee ballots under slightly different names. Those indicted are: • Dominique Atkins, 38, of 1532 Barnes Drive E. on the Northeast Side, who is accused of casting a second ballot on Oct. 25, 2010, under the name Dominque Atkins. • Debbie L. Tingler, 50, of 533 Hunt Valley Dr., Reynoldsburg, who is accused of casting a second ballot on Feb. 27, 2008, under the name Deborah L. Tingler. • Marian Wilson, 47, of 1922 Kendall Place, Grove City, who is accused of casting a second [...]
Vote Early Vote Often – DNC Staffer Assists Double Voting In Support of Obama
EXPOSED: Election Fraud at Organizing for America HQ Project Veritas has released a new investigation that exposes Obama campaign workers, including a Regional Field Director at Organizing for America (OFA), engaged in election fraud. According to James O’Keefe, “These individuals showed no concern whatsoever when our investigators declared their intention to vote multiple times for President Obama. In fact, they were happy to help, even going so far as to provide the forms necessary to commit the fraud and offering advice on how to avoid getting caught.” For much of 2012, Project Veritas has been conducting an ongoing series of investigations in more than a dozen states demonstrating the ease with which election fraud can be committed and legitimate voters can be [...]
