The United States and Israel jointly developed a sophisticated computer virus nicknamed Flame that collected critical intelligence in preparation for cyber-sabotage attacks aimed at slowing Iran’s ability to develop a nuclear weapon, according to Western officials with knowledge of the effort. Iran threatens to hit US targets worldwide
Russia Today is reporting that the Iranian ambassador to Moscow says that Iran can and will hit United States Targets. The United States says that this is dangerous rhetoric but has passed it off as typical of Iran. On Wednesday the Iranian ambassador to Moscow, Seyed Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi declared that Iran has the capabilities of carrying out military strikes on US interests around the globe. This comes after President Obama announced the United States would freeze all Iranian assets held in the US. Obama visit: Australia agrees US Marine deployment plan
Voicing security concerns and the increased military influence of China, Australia and President Obama have reached an agreement, which will deploy a company of US Marines, approximately 250 personnel, into Australia. The contingent is expected to grow to 2,500 eventually.
