Former Florida GOP Chair Jim Greer pleads Guilty
ORLANDO – Ousted former Florida GOP chairman Jim Greer this morning abruptly ended what was expected to be a painful unpeeling of state party secrets by entering a surprise guilty plea to five criminal charges. Greer, 50, of Oviedo, was facing a possible 75 years in prison for fraud, money laundering and theft. Now he faces a possible maximum sentence of 35 years. The deal he cut did not include an agreement on his sentence, which could include a mix of prison time and probation. That's to be decided at a March 27 hearing. Read More

What America will miss at the Orlando GOP debate – McCotter goes three layers deep on the issues and political wow factor
By Albert N. Milliron We have received a release that says former Governor Gary Johnson will be included in the Debate in Orlando on September 22nd. Fox News says he has met the criteria of 1 percentage point in the five national polls prior to the debate. One problem, there is another candidate who has done just as well. This candidate also rated Below Newt Gingrich and Tied Rick Santorum in the California straw poll. That candidate is Michigan Congressman Thad McCotter. Gary Johnson came in tenth in that poll. Here is another issue, some of the polling organizations are not even including McCotter in their polls at all. So it is impossible for McCotter to meet the one percent criteria because he isn't being included. The last poll we looked at, The USA Today/Gallup [...]

First in the South – Florida GOP backs off as South Carolina calls for removal of Convention
Maybe Florida has awaken from their Dream. Florida is NOT a southern state. It's demographics are more like the Midwest and Northeast. So when Florida thinks it should be the third primary as a representative of the South, it is delusional at best. South Carolina should remain the "first in the South" as it represent southern voters better than any other state. Southern Blacks are represented well in South Carolina and should not be disenfranchised by some state that doesn't have a good southern draw. So Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada remain as the four tests a candidate must negotiate to become a leading contender in the 2012 presidential contest. Hotline on Call puts it this way: The Republican Party of Florida wants no part in a dispute that could cost the [...]
Florida GOP gets Cash for Crist Clutter
The Florida Republican party will not be on the show "Hoarders" anytime soon. The RPOF sold a mess of Governor Charlie Crist items including a portrait going for $7,700 on eBay. The Washington Times put it this way: "Now that Charlie Crist has deserted his post as elected head of the Republican Party ... we are trying to clean up the mess left behind," said a statement from party officials announcing the sale. "Today we completed an important step." Florida state Sen. John Thrasher, chairman of the Florida GOP, removed the portrait from the party's Tallahassee headquarters immediately after Mr. Crist announced last month that he was bolting the party to continue his run for the U.S. Senate without party affiliation. The online auction for the portrait, an oil painting on [...]
Politisite interviews Chuck Norris at CNN / YouTube Debate
Politisite.com and Iron Mill New Service had an exclusive interview with Mr. Chuck Norris. Prior to the interview, I pulled out a small silver Olympus Digital recorder. When Chuck saw this object I thought I was going to be dropped kicked as it could have been mistaken for a small gun. When I shared it was just a digital recorder then he chuckled. Most of the equipment around was massive and old school. I didn't realize my Olympus WS-100 could be viewed as anything but a recording device. In the future when interviewing Martial Arts experts like Chuck Norris, I would do well by using a large black recorder . Politisite.com- Chuck, Why is Gov. Huckabee your Guy? Norris -I just think he has the leadership ability and the intelligence to lead our country into the next [...]
