Ron Paul supporters Favor Revolutionary to win Kentucky Derby With post time now less than an hour and a half away, the odds for the 2013 Kentucky Derby remain steady. Revolutionary, who became the favorite as odds moved due to wet conditions, is still favored at 5/1. More than $20 million has been wagered on the 139th Kentucky Derby, including more than $2.5 million on Revolutionary. Goldencents remains at 7/1 odds, but has now been joined in a tie for second place by Orb. Nearly $2 million has been wagered on Orb, whose odds recently moved from 8/1 to 7/1. Ron Paul, Mitt Romney’s lone remaining rival for the Republican presidential nomination, announced Monday that he would stop spending money on the party’s 11 remaining primaries, in effect suspending his campaign. PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel donates to Ron Paul super PAC

Silicon Valley renaissance man Peter Thiel donated another $1.7 million in January to a super PAC that backs Ron Paul, according to disclosure documents filed Monday. The PayPal co-founder donated $1 million on January 3, and followed that up 10 days later with an additional $700,000 gift. The donations, disclosed in Federal Election Commission filings, account for almost 75% of the $2.3 million collected by the Endorse Liberty super PAC last month. They aren't the first donations from the entrepreneur, venture capitalist and hedge fund manager. Thiel made donations of $150,000 and $750,000 to the super PAC in December, gifts that were disclosed in the committee's year-end filing. What? No More Reality GOP TV? CNN canceled its March 1 Republican candidates' debate Thursday after three of four candidates declined to participate, citing busy campaign schedules leading to Super Tuesday. "Mitt Romney and Ron Paul told the Georgia Republican Party, Ohio Republican Party and CNN Thursday that they will not participate in the March 1 Republican presidential primary debate," CNN said in a statement. "Without full participation of all four candidates, CNN will not move forward with the Super Tuesday debate." Former U.S. Sen.
