Who Took the Gold at the RNC?

Who Took the Gold at the RNC?

by Joe Keck Yes, that's the big question. The Republican National Convention got off the ground yesterday and I'm sure everyone is wondering who was the most impressive. I think I can answer that. Who indeed, was the sexiest female speaker of the night? It was close, but I think Sher Valenzuela, with those black horn-rimmed glasses, had to be the . . . Just kidding. I suppose we can stay away from the fluff for the time being, and get to the substance of this year's Republican National Convention. And since we're not Democrats, that would be policy. Note that every speaker targeted Obama's administrating, not his person. They talked about how his policies were lacking, how his liberal ideas were driving this country into debt, despair, even poverty. All legitimate if [...]

Santorum Wins Louisiana Primary – Election Results

Santorum Wins Louisiana Primary – Election Results

MANDEVILLE, La.—Rick Santorum won the Louisiana Republican presidential primary on Saturday, as voters in this conservative, Southern state decided they weren't ready to coalesce around front-runner Mitt Romney. Preliminary exit-poll results showed Mr. Santorum winning with his most dominant performance yet this year among conservatives and blue-collar voters and getting robust support from nearly all types of people, according to the Associated Press. Mr. Santorum was winning the votes of nearly half of conservatives, and just over half of those without college degrees—a measure of blue-collar voters. But the former Pennsylvania senator's victory will give him only a modest boost to his efforts to blunt Mr. Romney's push toward the nomination. Only 20 delegates were at [...]

Sunday Morning Tweet | ReTweets Review – Rush, Breitbart, & Etc.

By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor It is funny what one can get into during a Sunday morning when they are involved in New Media and are interested in Culture, Politics, and what other folks are thinking about the current trend topics of the day. Take, for example, the copy of these Tweets and ReTweets taken from a column in a "TweetDeck" array, over the course of an hour or so, found at The EDJE's Twitter account (yes, that is my account). The subjects range from Rush Limbaugh's recent flap that originated when he tried to make an outrageous point from an outrageous press conference put on by Nancy Pelosi that featured a 30 year-old co-ed, Sandra Fluke, who read from a statement she (Fluke) wrote about how the taxpayers should pay for her birth control and contraception [...]
