Vampire Diaries Actress arrested in Ricin case
Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson of New Boston, Texas had called the FBI last week saying that her Veteran husband had sent the letters to Bloomberg and Obama. It appears that she may have tried to frame her husband by sending the letters herself. A Texas woman has been arrested in connection with the mailing of three letters containing a form of the poison ricin to President Obama, New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg and the director of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, federal authorities said. Shannon Rogers Guess Richardson of New Boston, Texas, originally called the Federal Bureau of Investigation claiming that her husband had sent the letters, officials said. The investigators found that she had sent the letters herself, they said. Richardson is an actress with minor roles on [...]

Great Party, huh?
by Joe Keck With the Obama Administration and its Liberal cohorts in power, the chances of the Republican Party getting us back to a truly "Free" nation is nil. It's not Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the like, that is exclusively responsible for the erosion of our – as the Founders wrote – "God given rights". It is also, and maybe more heinous in nature, the Republicans who are at fault for the semi-socialist system we have been forced to live under these last several decades. Not too long ago George W. Bush had both houses, Senate and Congress, with a Republican majority. And of course, abortion was outlawed, government was chopped down to a bare minimum, and taxes were reduced to almost nothing. No. Pretty much, our gargantuan out-of-control Washington [...]
Barack ‘Magoo’ Obama
by Joe Keck Obama should live in Vegas. Of course, luck favors the Mainstream Media pets, but you gotta' admit, even if Lady Liberty stands in our current President's way, Lady Luck has a soft spot for him. I can just picture it. Obama walks into a casino and all the slots stop at triple cherries, the craps dice flip to 7's, and all the blackjack tables deal aces and faces. Why? Well, let's see. On his watch, a shoe bomber tried to blow up a plane but screwed it up. So, ridiculous as it is, the Obama Administration looks like it stopped a terrorist attack. A triple on that one-armed bandit! Then there was the underwear bomber. Again, it blew up in idiot's pants as he tried to deploy it. He was caught and arrested and no one was hurt. Shortly after, according to the [...]

Cruz Control: Obama’s Texas Road Trip
Obama sets out to paint Ted Cruz as face of the Opposition When things look dark and the Deltas face tough times in the movie “Animal House,” fraternity leader Otter knows exactly what to do: “Road trip!” So it is that President Obama, facing gridlock and partisan infighting in Washington, travels to Texas on Thursday on a road trip dubbed “The Middle Class Jobs & Opportunity Tour.” Texas might seem an odd place for Obama to talk jobs and the economy, given Gov. Rick Perry’s habit of claiming that he and Republicans are responsible for the state’s economic success. But as I wrote today, Perry is less a target than an afterthought. And the GOP prescription for boosting the economy – low taxes, less regulation, getting government out of the way — isn’t what [...]
What a Girl Wants: Dr. Ben Carson
What a Girl Wants: Dr. Ben Carson By Faith Falise Let it be known-I have had a crush on Dr. Carson for just about 20 years now. I am from a gritty drug-infested suburb outside of Baltimore so I have been privy to seeing Dr. Carson’s mind bending medical feats reported on the local news channel since my early 20’s. And, after hearing him so eloquently speak at a recent charity event in Columbia, South Carolina, I am even more firmly convinced that he deserves my adoration—or at the very least my fawning and reverent homage. But, all this recent hullabaloo over Dr. Carson has me wondering why—why do Dr. Carson’s words now strike such an inspirational chord with so many other Americans as well? Why has my secret intellectual crush gone viral? For [...]

Echoes of CPAC – A Politisite Interview with Ken Blackwell
Now that the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is almost a month past, this might be a good time for Politisite readers to hear some of the more personal perspectives that were offered by some prominent CPAC attendees. Over the next week or so, I’ll post some of the interviews that were conducted at CPAC over March 14th-16th. Our second Politisite – ”Echoes of CPAC” interview will be with Ken Blackwell, former Ohio Secretary of State and now a Senior Fellow at the Family Research Council. NOTE: This interview was conducted just a few days before the Republican National Committee released its "Growth & Opportunity Report." By Kevin Williams KW: As far as where we are going from the 2012 Elections, as far as diversity within in the [...]
GOP Senator sent Envelope containing Ricin – What is Ricin?
GOP Senator sent envelope containing Ricin An envelope that tested positive for the deadly poison ricin was intercepted Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. Capitol's off-site mail facility in Washington, congressional and law enforcement sources tell CNN. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he was told the letter was addressed to the office of Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Mississippi. After the envelope tested positive in a first routine test, it was retested two more times, each time coming up positive, the law enforcement source said. The package was then sent to a Maryland lab for further testing. Sen. Claire McCaskill told reporters after a briefing for lawmakers that a suspect has already been identified in the incident. Members will be warning their home-state offices to look out for [...]
