MSM: Being Gay more important than Benghazi
by Joe Keck Diane Sawyer of ABC hit the airways running with the news that Jason Collins, pro basketball star, is gay. It was her first mention among reporting on the Boston bombing and other newsworthy items. George Stephanopoulos, also of ABC, had a long interview with Collins about his homosexuality as well, a segment with the NBA player lasting more than five minutes. We wonder, if the White House Press Corps has access to Obama while he played golf with Tiger Woods, what would they ask, his golf scores. If he ad improved his swing? How it feels to be away from the FLOTUS and the Kids? Maybe would would be as outraged if the WHPA actually asked questions about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Chuck Hagels confirmation. Before I take your questions I just wanted to note that the President and the Vice President completed a very productive meeting with law enforcement officers, chiefs of police, and sheriffs from around the country, including from Oak Creek, Wisconsin; Aurora, Colorado; and Newtown, Connecticut, as well as the head of the Major Cities Police Chiefs organization and the Major Counties Sheriffs organization. So one wonders what ever gave the Congressional Republicans the Idea that by passing middle class tax cuts that the White House and Democrats would approve spending cuts at a later date when they can't even have a private call with Obama without it being leaked to the press. Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio and Republican leaders are fuming after a late night phone call with President Barack Obama was leaked to the press, despite an agreement that it would not be, according to several GOP aides.
