An American President’s Christmas Message From America To All
An American President's Christmas Message From America To All It may amaze one to ponder that only 30 years ago (December 23, 1981), a President of the United States felt it was his leadership duty to speak directly about the reason for the season and assure all, whether they believed in Christianity or not, that our country and its citizens were protected here as one, under "Faith and Freedom" ... regardless of belief or circumstance. May God bless the memory of Ronald Reagan. A message as poignant and timeless in 1981 as it is here in 2011. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
Statement by President Obama on Full-Year Extension of Payroll Tax Relief Deal
THE WHITE HOUSE December 22, 2011 Statement by the President For the past several weeks, I’ve stated consistently that it was critical that Congress not go home without preventing a tax increase on 160 million working Americans. Today, I congratulate members of Congress for ending the partisan stalemate by reaching an agreement that meets that test. Vital unemployment insurance will continue for millions of Americans who are looking for work. And when Congress returns, I urge them to keep working to reach an agreement that will extend this tax cut and unemployment insurance for all of 2012 without drama or [...]

President Barack Obama Thanksgiving Proclamation – November 24, 2011
Presidential Proclamation -- Thanksgiving Day, 2011 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA A PROCLAMATION One of our Nation's oldest and most cherished traditions, Thanksgiving Day brings us closer to our loved ones and invites us to reflect on the blessings that enrich our lives. The observance recalls the celebration of an autumn harvest centuries ago, when the Wampanoag tribe joined the Pilgrims at Plymouth Colony to share in the fruits of a bountiful season. The feast honored the Wampanoag for generously extending their knowledge of local game and agriculture to the Pilgrims, and today we renew our gratitude to all American Indians and Alaska Natives. We take this time to remember the ways that the First Americans have enriched our Nation's heritage, from their [...]
Happy Thanksgiving
From all of us at Iron Mill Interactive Media and Politisite. We wish you a blessed and reflective thanksgiving. Here is the First Proclamation of Thanksgiving by President Abraham Lincoln October 3rd, 1863 By the President of the United States of America. A Proclamation.
