Why All Americans Should Worry About One Little Filmmaker With Baggage
By Kevin Williams - Guest Op-Ed A few weeks ago, we all learned about the terrible attacks upon our Embassy in Cairo, Egypt and our Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Our Ambassador Christopher Stevens, a good man by all accounts, and Sean Smith, Tyrone S. Woods and Glen A. Doherty were murdered in Benghazi by Islamist extremists led by an Al Qaeda member released from Gitmo (Prisoner #557). As bad as these events were, what was almost as bad was and is the Obama Administration’s lack of focus on the real threat involved. Instead, they responded to these incidents by blaming them on an obscure, poorly-made film called The Innocence of Muslims. Actually, it was just a fourteen-minute film trailer, but that isn’t the point. From jump, the scape-goating of this YouTube film trailer and [...]
Why Organize? Problems and Promise in the Inner City by Barack Obama
WHY ORGANIZE? Problems and promise in the inner city by Barack Obama Over the past five years, I’ve often had a difficult time explaining my profession to folks. Typical is a remark a public school administrative aide made to me one bleak January morning, while I waited to deliver some flyers to a group of confused and angry parents who had discovered the presence of asbestos in their school. “Listen, Obama,” she began. “You’re a bright young man, Obama. You went to college, didn’t you?” I nodded. “I just cannot understand why a bright young man like you would go to college, get that degree and become a community organizer.” “Why’s that?” “’Cause the pay is low, the hours is long, and don’t nobody appreciate you.” She shook her head [...]
Democrats: Voter fraud is NOT a Problem – opps! Florida Investigating thousands of Potential Illegal Voters
MIAMI (CBS4) – In a new crackdown, Florida officials are investigating the citizenship of thousands of registered voters. CBS4 News has learned 2,000 of those potential non-citizen voters are registered in Miami-Dade County. At least one person on the list has had the opportunity to vote for the past 40 years. “These are the people that we have to notify by mail that we have a reason to believe that they’re a non-citizen,” said Christina White, Deputy Supervisor of Elections. Miami-Dade is not alone. Broward is looking at 260 registered voters and Monroe is investigating four. Numbers are important in elections. After all, the 2000 presidential election was decided by just over 500 votes. “So it’s very important that voter registration rolls are accurate and only [...]
President Obama Address to the Nation — Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan
THE WHITE HOUSE Office of the Press Secretary For Immediate Release May 2, 2012 REMARKS BY THE PRESIDENT IN ADDRESS TO THE NATION Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan 4:01 A.M. AFT THE PRESIDENT: Good evening from Bagram Air Base. This outpost is more than 7,000 miles from home, but for over a decade it's been close to our hearts. Because here, in Afghanistan, more than half a million of our sons and daughters have sacrificed to protect our country. Today, I signed a historic agreement between the United States and Afghanistan that defines a new kind of relationship between our countries -- a future in which Afghans are responsible for the security of their nation, and we build an [...]
U.S. Foreign aid to promote gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people abroad
Sure lets use American Foreign Aid for Gay Pride Parades! All this while we send our diplomat back to Syria. Once again, this president has some very odd priorities. “I am deeply concerned by the violence and discrimination targeting LGBT persons around the world,” Mr. Obama said in the memorandum, referring to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, “whether it is passing laws that criminalize LGBT status, beating citizens simply for joining peaceful LGBT pride celebrations, or killing men, women and children for their perceived sexual orientation.” Specifically, Mr. Obama said in the memorandum that the State Department would lead other federal agencies to help ensure that the government provides a “swift and meaningful response to serious incidents that [...]

Alaska to release 24,000 Palin emails
As Sarah Plain flirts with a potential Presidential run, the Media has decided to pursue the immediate release of Plain emails while she was Governor of Alaska. While this would be a non issue for any other former Governor, the media's incessant need to cover every road trip. Potential mishap, Gaffe, or sound byte of Palin is almost comical. The Media speaks of how unqualified she is to hold elected office above a bid for Dog Catcher but seems to spend more time tracking her than hunters after a prize Bear. Palin, who has not announced a run for 2012, has been using the media's Frenzy as a PR tactic to get her message out to the public. Whatever you think of this conservative woman, she sure has got the media reporting her every move and has catapulted her into a position of [...]

Podcast: Play in new window | Download via Janine Turner » Blog Archive » The Janine Turner Show 570 KLIF Not afraid to Speak her mind! Janine Turner's response to 'Obama's undue pressure on Israel?' President Obama's declaration that Israel should return to its 1967 borders is a true stunner. Not only is it unproductive, it is naive and ultimately unattainable. Obama is once again operating for the benefit of other countries, not for ours, and most certainly not for Israel. Negotiations are a seduction. Obama has made America seem like the bully on the playground - uninformed, unrealistic, [...]

Al Gore not on Time 100 Influential people?
From Power Line If you want still more indicators that environmentalism is totally passé, look no further than Time magazine's current issue featuring their latest draft picks of the World's Most 100 Influential People. If climate change is, as Al Gore (and legions of others) claims, the greatest threat facing mankind evah, why isn't he on the list somewhere? Or Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the UN's climate circus? No Amory Lovins? No Bill McKibben, or any other carbon crusader? The only environmental figure who turns up on the list is EPA administrator Lisa Jackson, and that's practically a gimme. Ten years from now no one is going to remember Lisa Jackson, come what may from the EPA. Time magazine lists like this are easy to mock for their dreary and predictable [...]
