Obama the President for everyone except Black people

Obama the President for everyone except Black people

Obama the President for everyone except Black people by  Kevin Johnson As President Barack Obama begins his second term, there is something noticeably different about his new cabinet - the absence of African-American leaders and advisors. The Congressional Black Caucus chair, Rep. Marcia Fudge of Ohio recently sent the president a letter stating, “You have publicly expressed your commitment to retaining diversity within your cabinet. However, the people you have chosen to appoint in this new term have hardly been reflective of this country’s diversity.” When one compares President Obama to his predecessors, the decrease in African-American appointments is astounding. In American presidential history, President William Jefferson Clinton has been, by far, the most [...]

Obama pushes Banks to make Home Loans to people with poor Credit

What could possibly go wrong with giving loans to people who can't afford the payments? The Obama administration is engaged in a broad push to make more home loans available to people with weaker credit, an effort that officials say will help power the economic recovery but that skeptics say could open the door to the risky lending that caused the housing crash in the first place. President Obama’s economic advisers and outside experts say the nation’s much-celebrated housing rebound is leaving too many people behind, including young people looking to buy their first homes and individuals with credit records weakened by the recession. People who work in Right-to-Work states Richer than Workers in Union States

People who work in Right-to-Work states Richer than Workers in Union States

Employees in right-to-work states can buy a lot more stuff with their money than their counterparts in union shop states, according to a new study from a Michigan economic think-tank. Apparently, the cost of living in right-to-work states is so much lower than in the union shop states that right-to-work employees have higher purchasing power. “For example, Texas per-capita income was $37,098 but would have a purchasing power of $49,700 in the state of New York in 2007,” according to the Mackinac Center for Public Policy. “New York’s per-capita income was $47,852.” Read More   Right-to-Work States Have Higher Incomes A constant claim by opponents of right-to-work, whether it be from the AFL-CIO, state Democratic legislators or the president, is that income is [...]

Yuri Bezmenov Prophet of America’s Ominous Future

English: Entrance to the KGB building in Moscow, Russia (Photo credit: Wikipedia)   By Doc Vega   A great American patriot was ironically born in Russia, educated at Moscow State University, and served as a KGB informant. In 1970, Yuri Bezmenov defected to Canada. After becoming a citizen, taking any work available to him, he quickly emerged as an important figure speaking out against the ruthless and uncompromising world Communist movement. Yuri warned America that its government was already deeply infiltrated and was on the road to an eventual socialist rebellion. Giving instructional public dissertations, Bezmenov tried to wake up Americans to the fact that liberal, welfare state advocates deeply rooted in the Democratic party were leading America down the road to [...]

Congressman Ron Paul’s Farewell Address – Full Text – Video

Farewell to Congress - Ron Paul Delivered on the House Floor November 14, 2012 This may well be the last time I speak on the House Floor. At the end of the year I’ll leave Congress after 23 years in office over a 36 year period. My goals in 1976 were the same as they are today: promote peace and prosperity by a strict adherence to the principles of individual liberty. It was my opinion, that the course the U.S. embarked on in the latter part of the 20th Century would bring us a major financial crisis and engulf us in a foreign policy that would overextend us and undermine our national security. To achieve the goals I sought, government would have had to shrink in size and scope, reduce spending, change the monetary system, and reject the unsustainable costs of policing the world [...]
