That's the key word when it comes to the two major political parties in this country. And lest you think I would wax partisan here, let me just say that both parties want it. Democrats and Republicans want control of the people, it's just that the Republicans want a bit less of it. Just a bit. Conservative political commentator, Joseph Sobran, once said of the Democrats and Republicans, that they are both dragging us downward into cultural decadence, it's just that the Republicans are doing it at a slower rate.
