It appears the White House has realized that a major protest by it's own left-wing and radical anarchists during an election year may be problematic to it's re-election efforts. The story was too good to be true. A wealthy banker runs up a three-figure bill, only tips 1% (!), and writes a note to the server to “get a real job” as a parting insult. CNN, Huffington Post, and other media outlets ran with the story of the arrogant banker and his miserly recompense to the help. How soon the media forgets. Obama's Pastor Jeremiah Wright made incendiary statements about America and Racism but the media passed it off as not news worthy and that Obama was not responsible for the statements of His Pastor. Harry Reid Tells Republicans to Drop Tea Party Extremism
Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, prepared to go back for the next session of Congress by issuing a warning to Republicans. He warned them against tea party extremism and said that President Obama had bent over backwards for the last two and half years. I guess the Senator forgot where the bipartisan politics started. Hey OWS, You’re Targeting the Wrong 1%
The Occupy Movement talks a lot about the 1% and the 99%, but the fact is, they’re targeting the wrong 1%. Most of OWS puts the blame on Capitalism itself, the “banksters” and those greedy CEOs out to make ungodly amounts of money. You’ll find many Occupiers speaking about corporations putting “profits over people”, apparently oblivious to the fact that a large majority of the 99-percent are deeply invested in the stock market, either directly or through retirement accounts & mutual funds and the success of the investments of the 99% requires those greedy CEOs and board members to focus on company profits as their number one responsibility to the shareholders. For all the Commies and Socialists coming out of the woodwork at these protests, blaming Capitalism is a joke. [...]
