The longtime conservative voice of 750AM and 95.5 FM News/Talk WSB on Monday put listeners on notice: A talk show career that stretches back to the days of President Richard Nixon and Gov. Jimmy Carter will end at precisely 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, with either a loud celebration, or a final rant of King Lear proportions. That’s Inauguration Day, you see. Neal Boortz, shown here in 2005, is now preparing to give up the microphone. AJC file “If it’s Barack Obama, then I’m going to disappear into the mountains and come out after he has destroyed this country. If it’s Mitt Romney, we’ll start drinking as the show begins,” [...]

2012 Republican Presidential Nomination – Politisite Poll Average (PPA)

2012 Republican Presidential Nomination – Politisite Poll Average (PPA)

2012 Republican Presidential Nomination By Albert N. Milliron Politisite Poll Average (PPA) -  Note the Politisite Poll Average takes the high poll and the low poll and throw them out (e.g. like Olympic scores).  We think by doing so we eliminate polls that over or understate the results due to their methodology.  We do not name the polls we throw out because, we do not want to give the opinion that certain polls are"bad" or others are "good" .  We simply believe that by tossing the high and low poll,  the number provide a better representation of the actual position of the candidates during the time we report. Even with our methodology, the numbers are within a few tenth to a few percentage points of the well known Real Clear Politics Average (RCP) The RCP Number will be [...]

Herman Cain Campaign: ‘No Way He’s Dropping Out’

Herman Cain Campaign: ‘No Way He’s Dropping Out’

Anytime we get an email from a campaign that says, NO WAY!  It usually means a drop out within days. Herman Cain was a good ride and the train was conformable until the last few miles.  But from our view, no matter the validity of the allegations, the gaffs and foreign policy missteps have shown us that Cain is not ready for prime time. We expect a drop out of the race, no matter the last bit of supporters funding, well ahead of Iowa Caucus. This is to our detriment as we called Cain the South Carolina Winner months ago.  Here is another example of how a day is a thousand years in the politcal world. So as Meghan McCain and I tossed back and forth our primary winners, I am down two of three as Bachmann will not win Iowa and Cain will not Win South Carolina (meaning I owe [...]
