SC GOP Presidential Debate – Winners
Last night's SC debate can be considered the best of all the previous debates. Romney rivals tried to plant doubts about the front runner , while Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum quarreled over who is the most conservative to challenge Mitt Romney. While Romney held his own, Newt Gingrich even received a standing ovation. While candidates exchanged punches, there were plenty of attacks on the incumbent in the White House. Romney continued to lead in the polls prior to the debate and his opponents were well aware that they had to score a few points, if not a knock out punch to continue their quest for the White House. Newt Gingrich started out with his Bain Capital attack, although in fairness the first question led him into it. “There was a pattern in some companies, a [...]

Laughable- CBS Fights With Gingrich, Accuses Him of Starting Class War
Gingrich is starting a Class War, Really? Am I watching SNL? CBS's Early Show repeatedly hit GOP candidate Newt Gingrich on Friday over his comments on African-Americans and food stamps. The network played the quote for African-American Congressman Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and engaged Gingrich over the context, even accusing him of trying to start a class war. "You've accused President Obama of trying to start a class war," co-host Nancy Cordes told Gingrich in an interview at the bottom of the 7 a.m. hour. "Aren't you doing the same thing?" she pressed him. The accusation came after CBS correspondent Jan Crawford described his newly-negative campaign as "using a flamethrower and scorching this field. " "But after he was hit with some negative ads he is not only answering back, guys [...]
Gingrich: Paul Worse Than Obama
The 2012 Election seems to be the Election of the Metaphor Newt Gingrich has finally found a politician he considers even worse than the president he calls socialist, anti-colonialist and radical. That would be his fellow Republican Ron Paul. "I think Barack Obama is very destructive to the future of the United States. I think Ron Paul's views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American," Gingrich said Tuesday in a CNN interview with Wolf Blitzer. Could he vote for Paul? "No." If it came down to Paul vs. Obama? "You'd have a very tough choice at that point." Gingrich's fencing with Mitt Romney seems like an afternoon at a gentleman's club compared with his slams on Paul. "As people get to know more about Ron Paul, who disowns 10 years of his own [...]
Gingrich fails to qualify for GOP primary ballot in Virginia – Romney, Paul remain
A Rookie mistake we thought when Perry missed the Ballot, but Gingrich has been around the block a few years. Often one will ask for a voter ID or a drivers License A 10,000 requirement means at least 15,000 signatures Period. The lesson: always expect your opponents (in your party or the other) will not play clean politics, Trust but verify like they are a Nuclear power. Gingrich, Perry fail to qualify for GOP primary ballot in Virginia Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich failed to collect enough signatures to appear on the Virginia primary ballot, the Republican Party of Virginia announced Saturday morning. Gingrich, as well as [...]
