Chris Christie was running his mouth about Newt Gingrich, saying that Newt has embarrassed the Republican Party with his ethics charges that were brought in Congress by Democrat Congressman David Bonior. Mark challenges Christie to review each of the charges, point by point, and their outcome as a student of the process just as Mark did at the time the charges were actually brought because Mark Levin was a senior attorney at the Landmark Legal Foundation and performed the investigation. In his first Florida appearance since losing the South Carolina primary, Mitt Romney college paper fired away at the viagra pills man who beat him in the Palmetto State -- Newt Gingrich -- during a campaign appearance in Ormond Beach on Jan. 22, 2012. "He had to resign in disgrace," Romney told listeners. "I don't know whether you knew that." He made a similar comment during the debate in Tampa on Jan. 23. NBC ‘Rock Center’ GOP Debate From Tampa Bay Tweet-By-Tweet
By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor With barely enough time to soak in the resounding and unexpected win in the South Carolina primary by former insider turned outsider, Newt Gingrich, NBC News Rock Center with Brian Williams is conducting the first of two televised GOP field debates before the Florida primary. The primary result in South Carolina (Newt - 40% vs Mitt - 28% ... a 12% spread) put egg on the faces of many recognizable Republican leadership faces, the most recognizable of which was the 2008 presidential election's Republican nominee, John McCain, New Jersey Governor Chris Cristie, and past Republican Political Party leader, Hailey Barbour. This potential Republican 'ruling class' drubbing may continue in Florida if the most recent polls from Rasmussen are to be [...]

Gingrich had two memorable moments in the debates - both involving sparring with the debate moderators - that went viral among conservatives and earned him standing ovations. Even when he was earning rave reviews in the early debates, Romney wasn't creating those kinds of moments - the ones that the voters who don't actually [...]

The SCGOP Palmetto Pick Begins … And Ends
By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor After a ton of debates over about an eight month period, and two spirited debates in South Carolina, Republicans get their first real pure test as to who they would like to see replace Barack Obama as the leader of the free world, oh, and the president of the United States. The two warm-up acts, the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Primary had an element to them which have both voting processes tainted by being loose as it relates to who could sign up to vote (in Iowa, one may not even live in the state) or which political party affiliation one happened to be representing in order to vote. South Carolina wants registered Republicans to vote in the Republican primary for president, or any other office for that matter. Good, clean, and clear [...]
