Op-Ed: Will this Independence Day Be Your Last?

Fourth of July. Independence Day. Normally we celebrate this day and enjoy our freedom. This year we cannot sit back and rest with BBQ during the day and fireworks at night. This year – this week starting today – we must fight for our independence. If we do not fight now, we may never be free again to celebrate Independence Day. As it stands, we have one party that wants to trample our freedom and will do whatever it takes to achieve their goal of a massive government takeover of our lives. We have another party that is afraid to take a stand and wrings its hands saying there are problems, but never corrects the problems.
