ROBERT REICH: Get Ready For A Obama-Clinton Presidential Ticket
Obama dumping Biden would be the most important decision of the 2012 election. We think that if Obama shuffles Biden to Secretary of State (God help us) or out of the cabinet all together, it would seal 2012 for Obama and the Democratic Party My political prediction for 2012 (based on absolutely no inside information): Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden swap places. Biden becomes Secretary of State — a position he’s apparently coveted for years. And Hillary Clinton, Vice President. So the Democratic ticket for 2012 is Obama-Clinton. Why do I say this? Because Obama needs to stir the passions and enthusiasms of a Democratic base that’s been disillusioned with his cave-ins to regressive Republicans. Hillary Clinton on the ticket can do that. How many people are Running for President in 2012?
Americans have more choice than they think when selecting their candidate for President in 2012. In Fact, President Obama has 174 other people in America Running against him.. Why? Because the Rent is too Damn High! In America, most of the news surrounds the Republican and Democrat parties. Every once in a while, one will hear something on the Green Party or maybe the Libertarians. And if one really is being thorough, they will mention the Constitution Party. But in most cases one will not hear much is anything on the New Black Panther Party or the American Populist Party. If folks would start evaluating these people running for president and look at the alternative parties, Americans could return the Government to the people. As it stands now, the Republican and [...]
NBRA petitions UN to Censure President Obama for Racism
By Frances Rice The NAACP, acting on behalf of President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party, launched an attack on Republicans with a false charge of racism because some states are trying to end voter fraud by requiring all voters to present identification when appearing at the polls to vote. The NAACP did their grandstanding in front of the United Nations on December 10th, the day the UN declared to be “International Human Rights Day”. The NAACP also announced that in January 2012, they will present a petition to the UN, claiming that Republicans want to “take away the right to vote” from “the elderly and working families of all colors.” Notably, the NAACP has voiced no objection over identification required to do business in a bank, board an airplane, get [...]
Barney Frank won't seek reelection in 2012
Congressman Barney Frank will hold a news conference at 1 pm ET to announce that he will not seek re-election in 2012. US Representative Barney Frank, the state’s highest-profile congressman and one of the nation’s leading liberal voices after being among its first openly gay elected officials, planned to announce today that he will not reelection next year. A top adviser told the Globe that the new district in which Frank would have had to run next year was a major factor in his decision. While it retained his Newton stronghold, it was revised to encompass more conservative towns like Walpole while losing New Bedford, a blue-collar city where the Democrat had invested a lot of time and become a leading figure in the region’s fisheries debate. Frank’s campaign manager last year [...]
Communists Sue Democratic Party For Stealing Platform
In a surprise move, the CPUSA (Communist Party USA) has announced a lawsuit against the Democratic Party and its leadership for the alleged theft of intellectual property. The plaintiffs claim that the entire so-called "new" Democratic agenda is, in fact, the product of a decades-long, painstaking campaign by CPUSA theorists, agitators, and underground subversive cells - which makes it the intellectual property of the Communist Party USA, protected by American copyright laws. "They stole our entire platform, rebranded it 'progressive', and claimed it as their own," declared a CPUSA spokesperson at a press conference in San Francisco. "And we communists say, not so fast! Not in this country anyway, where we still have property rights and the rule of law, thank God! Actually, let me [...]
Cain: Guilty until proven innocent?
By Frances Rice, chairman of the National Black Republican Association Guilty until proven innocent. This is the un-American standard set for Republican candidates when attacked by the liberal media. Those who want to destroy Herman Cain’s candidacy have given no consideration to the FACT that not one of the thousands of women Cain had contact with over his 40-year career has ever filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint for the record, an action that would have resulted in Cain being fired, if the allegations were proven true. Why was no such complaint ever filed, if Cain was, indeed, a serial sexual harasser and created a hostile work environment, as is being alleged? The answer is simple. Herman Cain has never sexually harassed any one. Those who are [...]
Gloria Allred Holds Press Conference with Another Cain Accuser
Gloria Allred held a press conference at 1:30 pm ET in New York City, with a fourth woman, Sharon Bialek, a Chicago woman alleging harassment by Herman Cain. This, according to Allred, is a new accuser and not of the one previous women that have accused Herman Cain of sexual assault. The woman appeared with with Gloria Alfred at the news conference. Gloria Allred is a well known supporter of the Democratic Party, a feminist and has been involved in several high profile controversial cases in the past. The allegations against Herman Cain started shortly after he achieved front runner status in the field of GOP hopefuls. Politico published a story, which referred to anonymous sources. Although the National Restaurant Association (NRA) has offered to waive the confidentiality [...]
Obama Aims at Election Laws
The Obama re-election campaign has quietly opened a counteroffensive against Republican-backed changes to election laws that Democrats say will suppress votes for their candidates and limit their get-out-the-vote drives. The effort, led by former White House counsel Robert Bauer, prompted the suspension of an Ohio law limiting early voting. Campaign officials produced educational materials to counter a Wisconsin law that requires voters to produce photo I.D.s—but disallows those used by Wisconsin colleges. By this spring, the Obama re-election campaign will mount what Mr. Bauer called an unprecedented "voter protection" effort, fielding thousands of volunteers in battleground states to help navigate . via Obama Campaign Backing Tests of New Voter Laws - WSJ.com. Analyst Prediction: Another US Debt Downgrade Is Coming In Just A Few Weeks. Who will Obama blame this one on?
In an analyst note, Bofa/ML Ethan S. Harris drops a bit of a bombshell prediction: We expect a moderate slowdown in the beginning of next year, as two small policy shocks—another debt downgrade and fiscal tightening—hit the economy. The “not-so-super” Deficit Commission is very unlikely to come up with a credible deficit-reduction plan. The committee is more divided than the overall Congress. Since the fall-back plan is sharp cuts in discretionary spending, the whole point of the Committee is to put taxes and entitlements on the table. However, all the Republican members have signed the Norquist “no taxes” pledge and with taxes off the table it is hard to imagine the liberal Democrats on the Committee agreeing to significant entitlement cuts. The credit rating agencies have [...]
Rev. Sharpton Doesn't Know Higher Percentage of Republicans Voted for Civil Rights Act
As Al Sharpton ridiculed Herman Cain on MSNBC's "The Last Word" Friday for saying blacks have been brainwashed into voting for Democrats, the reverend ended up proving the Republican presidential candidate's point. Seconds after claiming, "What does not have the right is to rewrite history by saying that blacks were brainwashed by becoming Democrats," Sharpton showed his ignorance of the subject by stating, "We went with a Party that stood up for the Civil Rights Act of '64 and Voting Rights Act of '65" (video follows with transcript and commentary): AL SHARPTON, MSNBC: I think that I agree with both Goldie and Melissa. He had the right not to be involved. What he does not have the right is to rewrite history by saying that blacks were brainwashed by becoming Democrats, because when [...]
