Part 4 - LAST 30 minutes: Transcript THIS IS A RUSH FDCH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. FORMER SEN. RICK SANTORUM, (R-PA.), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Well, I mean, what Governor Perry's done is he provided in-state tuition for -- for illegal immigrants. Maybe that was an attempt to attract the illegal vote -- I mean, the Latino voters. But you track Latino voters by talking about the importance of immigration in this country. You talk about the importance of -- as -- as Newt has talked about for many years, having English as the -- as the official language of this country. (APPLAUSE) And I say that... (APPLAUSE) I say that as, again, my -- my father and grandfather came to this country not speaking a word of English, but it [...]

Part 3 - Third 30 minutes: Transcript THIS IS A RUSH FDCH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. FORMER GOV. MITT ROMNEY, (R-MA.), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: Well, my own view is that, quite simply, that the Federal Reserve has a responsibility to preserve the value of our currency, to have a strong American currency, such that investors and people who are thinking about bringing enterprises to this country have confidence in the future of America and in our currency. People will not invest in this country and create jobs in this country for the American people if they don't have belief in our currency. Of course we should see what the Fed is doing. There should be some oversight to make sure that it's -- it's acting properly. But at the same time, [...]

MITT ROMNEY, (R-MA.), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: I wouldn't repeal it. I'd reform Medicare and reform Medicaid and reform Social Security to get them on a sustainable basis, not for current retirees, but for those in their 20s and 30s and early 50s. But [...]

What was DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz doing in the Spin room at a GOP Debate? Who Invited Her?
I have been to many debates and spent my share of time in the after debate Spin Room. I have never seen a Chair for the other party in the Spin Room of the opposing party's debate. Who invited DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to begin with? Seems to me that is a bit out of what is considered appropriate. I do know that CNN handled the credentialing for this debate. From CNN The woman working to ensure President Obama's re-election entered the political equivalent of the lion's den - and pounced on a debate moment to blast the Republican presidential candidates late Monday. Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz stood in the "spin room" at the Florida State Fair Grounds in Tampa following the Republican Tea Party Debate broadcast by CNN and countered [...]

Rick Perry threatening to cement his standing atop the national polls, his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination aggressively sought to undermine his conservative credentials on Monday during the first-ever CNN/Tea Party debate in Florida. Perry repeatedly found himself in the crosshairs, as the field of candidates took turns attacking his positions on illegal immigration, Social Security, and his controversial 2007 push to vaccinate Texas schoolgirls against human papillomavirus, a common sexually transmitted that can lead to cervical cancer. Tonight’s CNN/Tea Party Debate: Why Is CNN Asking Questions On Behalf of the Tea Party?
Tonight’s debate is being labeled as a CNN/Tea Party debate, but I’m expecting a whole lot of CNN and very little tea party — which means more questions about Creationism, race, abortion, gay marriage and why Rick Perry wants to replace Social Security checks with cans of Alpo. In other words, just about any question the CNN moderator can up with that stays as far away as possible from any of President Obama’s many, many, many, many, many failures. Certainly, we should all be thrilled that a major news network is legitimizing the tea party with this kind of partnership, but we also have to be careful and remember who the MSM really is, and that’s our political adversary. The Leftist media isn’t teaming with the tea party or hosting debates at the Reagan Library out of [...]
NBC Republican Debate pushes Perry against Romney
We think that Texas Governor Rick Perry may have disappointed as high expectations prevailed. Romney, the polished politician and business man has yet to make a debate gaff. Ron Paul actually drew fire from Perry after Paul pout out an ad that called Perry Al Gores cheer leader. Bachmann faltering in the polls was pushed aside this time round. Rick Santorum usually known as the social conservative has become the most defense conservative in the field as others have strong social conservative credentials. Jon Huntsman spends a good deal of his time distancing himself from his former boss, President Obama. His also sets himself as the intellectual man in the room calling others non-scientific as he touts his views on Climate Change and Evolution. Newt Gingrich came away [...]
