Video: The 1% tip hoax – Get a Job
The story was too good to be true. A wealthy banker runs up a three-figure bill, only tips 1% (!), and writes a note to the server to “get a real job” as a parting insult. CNN, Huffington Post, and other media outlets ran with the story of the arrogant banker and his miserly recompense to the help. There was only one thing wrong — it really was too good to be true: According to Huffington Post, CNN and several other news sites, a person claiming to be an employee of the “wealthy” banker took a photo of the receipt and posted it on a blog, “Future Ex-Banker”. The blogger paired the photo with their own caption: “Mention the ’99 percent’ in my boss’ presence and feel his wrath. So proudly does he wear his 1 percent badge of honor that he tips exactly 1 [...]
Obama’s Infanticide History
This is a snapshot of Jill Stanek’s running post, following Newt Gingrich’s cheerful reminder to the Marxstream media about The One they religiously protect and his bloodthirsty record in Illinois. To say she is a hands-on expert in this matter is a grim understatement. We encourage you to find the rest at JillStanek.com, to learn how it all went down in Obama’s adopted state, and to inform or remind others – even 5th column journalists. Obama’s support of infanticide takes center stage in Republican presidential debate 2/24, 6:40a: Conservatives are ripping Politico’s Alexander Burns for incorrectly identifying the object of Newt Gingrich’s criticism as Barack Obama’s opposition to a partial birth abortion ban rather than the Born Alive [...]
CNN Cancels March 1 Debate After Candidates Decline
What? No More Reality GOP TV? CNN canceled its March 1 Republican candidates' debate Thursday after three of four candidates declined to participate, citing busy campaign schedules leading to Super Tuesday. "Mitt Romney and Ron Paul told the Georgia Republican Party, Ohio Republican Party and CNN Thursday that they will not participate in the March 1 Republican presidential primary debate," CNN said in a statement. "Without full participation of all four candidates, CNN will not move forward with the Super Tuesday debate." Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum also said he would not participate, leaving only former House Speaker Newt Gingrich committed to attending. Still scheduled is a Feb. 22 debate sponsored by CNN and the Arizona Republican Party in Mesa, Ariz. It will be moderated [...]
CNN Suspends Roland Martin Over ‘Gay’ Super Bowl Tweets
CNN’s Roland Martin has been suspended over controversial Super Bowl tweets he sent. The Washington Post’s Erik Wemple has more: On Super Bowl Sunday, Roland Martin of CNN issued some homophobic tweets that got him in trouble with gay organizations and this blog. CNN stayed silent on the matter, until just moments ago, when it issued this statement: “Roland Martin’s tweets were regrettable and offensive. Language that demeans is inconsistent with the values and culture of our organization, and is not tolerated. We have been giving careful consideration to this matter, and Roland will not be appearing on our air for the time being.” The Huffington Post adds: The move came three days after Martin caused an outcry by tweeting that people should “smack the ish” out of [...]

Watch the CNN Southern Republican Presidential Debate – Charleston, South Carolina GOP Debate Coverage #CNNDebate
Watch the Debate Live stream here BLITZER’S BLOG: Why tonight’s debate is must-see TV Charleston, South Carolina (CNN) – Here are a few things I will be looking for in Thursday night’s CNN Southern Republican Presidential Debate: The four remaining candidates have been beating up on each other in recent days. Will they have the guts to blast their opponents when they are standing right next to them? Rick Santorum, whom I interviewed Thursday in Charleston, has had an ad running that says Mitt Romney is “just like Obama.” He refers to Romney’s support for health care mandates in Massachusetts. Will Santorum look Romney in the eyes and repeat that line Thursday night? Newt Gingrich told me in Iowa that he doesn’t think he could vote for Ron Paul if the Texas [...]
