Poll: 26% say IRS Targeting Conservatives is Appropriate
Poll: 26% say IRS Targeting Conservatives is Appropriate President Obama may have had the worst week of his presidency, but according to a new CNN poll his approval numbers actually increased. Obama's approval rating is at 53%. That is the highest approval rating since March 17th of this year. The CNN poll asked several questions about views of the IRS. It seems that 34% have a favorable view of the government agency. 26% of those surveyed think that singling out conservatives for additional review is wholly appropriate. White House to Woodward: You will Regret Doing this
Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a "very senior person" at the White House warned him in an email that he would "regret doing this," the same day he has continued to slam President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester. CNN host Wolf Blitzer said that the network invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the White House declined. President Obama lost millions of voters last election. He also appears to be less popular each year he gives a State of the Union. Since his first Official SOTU speech in 201o, Obama has lost a total of 14.5 million viewers. He lost 11.3% viewers from his State of the Union Speech in 2012. Carville, Matalin exit CNN – Erick Erickson heads to Fox News
All that talk about Sarah Palin leaving Fox News has dominated the Lefty Media. Seems they forgot that CNN has dumped a large number of contributors. It's just not as sexy as Palin bashing Pundit power couple James Carville and Mary Matalin will not be continuing their contracts with CNN, according to FishbowlDC sources. In addition, Bill Bennett and Maria Cardona are also parting ways with the network, although CNN Espanol will keep Cardona on board. CNN Poll: Americans less optimistic about economy improving in next four years
Four years ago Americans were optimistic about President Obama and the economy with 76% saying that things would be better off in four years. Four years later, 56% think things will be better four years from now. 40% of those polled said that things would be worse off in four years. A majority of Americans give President Barack Obama a thumbs up on the job he's doing in office, but according to a new national poll they are less optimistic about the country's future than they were four years ago when Obama won the White House for the first time. Milliron If any of you wondered why Obama got nearly ten percent more time during Tuesdays Town Hall debate, it was because President Obama speaks slower than Romney and needed more time to respond to questions. You see, Romney got more words in even though he got less time. We are wondering why there wasn't a word counter instead of a timer for the debate if ones word count was to be a factor.
