Columbia Journalism Review Slams Politico’s ‘Frenzied, Single-Minded Focus’ On Herman Cain

Columbia Journalism Review Slams Politico’s ‘Frenzied, Single-Minded Focus’ On Herman Cain

Now that we’re learning something about Cain’s accusers and how the National Restaurant Association settlements agreements were handled, Politico’s unwillingness to give us specific details in that mega-story of theirs is starting to make some sense, at least to me. What we’re now discovering is that the facts are much less troubling than what was ginned up in our collective imaginations that were fueled only by Politico’s maddeningly vague allegations and innuendo. So now you have to wonder if the 144 story (and counting) feeding frenzy Politico ’s journOlisted up over the last ten days wasn’t all smoke and mirrors designed to cover up the fact that their original story was nowhere near worthy of the Normandy-like roll out they organized and commanded. The there [...]

Herman Cain: I never abused anyone

Herman Cain: I never abused anyone

Editor's note:  Now I Like Herman Cain, I was involved in Georgia Politics, I even know L. Lin Wood who has one of the highest reputations as a First Amendment Attorney. But I wish Mr. Cain would know when to keep his mouth closed.  No one knows who the power behind the "machine" is.  whether it be Democrat,  Republican, or any other social strata.  The answer to, "will you take a polygraph"?  is ALWAYS no! Herman Cain issued his strongest denial yet of charges of sexual harassment during a 5 p.m. press conference in Phoenix, Arizona, saying that the harassment alleged by accuser Sharon Bialek "simply didn't happen, and calling Bialek "a troubled woman" put forward by "the Democrat machine" to attack him. Referring to himself in the third person more than once, Cain said he had [...]

Cain: Guilty until proven innocent?

Cain: Guilty until proven innocent?

By Frances Rice, chairman of the National Black Republican Association Guilty until proven innocent.  This is the un-American standard set for Republican candidates when attacked by the liberal media.  Those who want to destroy Herman Cain’s candidacy have given no consideration to the FACT that not one of the thousands of women Cain had contact with over his 40-year career has ever filed an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint for the record, an action that would have resulted in Cain being fired, if the allegations were proven true.  Why was no such complaint ever filed, if Cain was, indeed, a serial sexual harasser and created a hostile work environment, as is being alleged?  The answer is simple.  Herman Cain has never sexually harassed any one. Those who are [...]

Politisite Political Projections: Puts on Cain, Romney for the Dividend, and Gingrich call options

Politisite Political Projections: Puts on Cain, Romney for the Dividend, and Gingrich call options

While no one who looks at numbers everyday thinks these numbers will stand, Cain and Romney are still tied for the GOP Nomination. While Romney remains stable, Cain is dropping, and Gingrich is slowly rising.  If the writer were using each as a stock, he would be shorting Cain, Keeping Romney for the Dividend, and buying call options on Gingrich. The Politisite Political Projection model uses statistics to and a momentum modality on candidates. PRINCETON, NJ -- Herman Cain now ties Mitt Romney as the leader for the GOP presidential nomination in USA Today/Gallup polling on Republican preferences conducted Nov. 2-6. Each receives 21% support from Republicans nationwide. Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry follow, with 12% and 11% support, respectively. Gallup's previous measure of Republicans' [...]

Cain Campaign responds to Sharon Bialek Sexual Assult Allegations

Herman Cain's campaign Statement. Just as the country finally begins to refocus on our crippling $15 trillion national debt and the unacceptably high unemployment rate, now activist celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred is bringing forth more false accusations against the character of Republican front-runner Herman Cain. All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are completely false. Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone. Fortunately the American people will not allow Mr. Cain's bold "9-9-9 Plan", clear foreign policy vision and plans for energy independence to be overshadowed by these bogus attacks.

Gloria Allred Holds Press Conference with Another Cain Accuser

Gloria Allred Holds Press Conference with Another Cain Accuser

Gloria Allred held a press conference at 1:30 pm ET in New York City, with a fourth woman, Sharon Bialek, a Chicago woman alleging harassment by Herman Cain.  This, according to Allred, is a new accuser and not of the one previous women that have accused Herman Cain of sexual assault.  The woman appeared with with Gloria Alfred at the news conference.   Gloria Allred is a well known supporter of the Democratic Party, a feminist and has been involved in several high profile controversial cases in the past. The allegations against Herman Cain started shortly after he achieved front runner status in the field of GOP hopefuls.   Politico published a story, which referred to anonymous sources.  Although the National Restaurant Association (NRA) has offered to waive the confidentiality [...]

Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich Meet For a Congenial Debate

Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich Meet For a Congenial Debate

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The rancor that defined much of the last week on the Republican presidential campaign trail subsided a bit here on Saturday night, as Newt Gingrich and Herman Cain basked in each other’s company and the warm embrace of the Texas Tea Party for what was styled as an old-fashioned issues-focused debate. The challenges facing the Cain campaign over the last week, as it struggled to deal with revelations of sexual harassment accusations made against Mr. Cain while he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s, were not addressed at all. The event, formally titled the Cain-Gingrich Debate 2011, was actually a fund-raiser held in a cavernous hotel ballroom north of Houston that was packed with 1,000 people. It felt more like a conservative [...]
