Florida Primary: Cain 30%, Romney 24%, Gingrich 19%
Presidential Candidate Herman Cain remains strong in Florida despite sexual misconduct allegations. In a head to head match-up Cain does is down 11 points against President Obama. As he continues to battle media coverage over past sexual harassment allegations, businessman Herman Cain leads other Republican hopefuls in the first Rasmussen Reports look at the GOP primary race in Florida. The latest statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Cain with 30% support while former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney picks up 24% of the vote. Now that we’re learning something about Cain’s accusers and how the National Restaurant Association settlements agreements were handled, Politico’s unwillingness to give us specific details in that mega-story of theirs is starting to make some sense, at least to me. What we’re now discovering is that the facts are much less troubling than what was ginned up in our collective imaginations that were fueled only by Politico’s maddeningly vague allegations and innuendo. Gloria Allred Holds Press Conference with Another Cain Accuser
Gloria Allred held a press conference at 1:30 pm ET in New York City, with a fourth woman, Sharon Bialek, a Chicago woman alleging harassment by Herman Cain. This, according to Allred, is a new accuser and not of the one previous women that have accused Herman Cain of sexual assault. The woman appeared with with Gloria Alfred at the news conference. Gloria Allred is a well known supporter of the Democratic Party, a feminist and has been involved in several high profile controversial cases in the past.
