Andrew Breitbart Dead at 43 1969-2012

Andrew Breitbart Dead at 43 1969-2012

One of our conservative friends has died.  May he Rest In Peace.  From all of us at Politisite and Iron Mill News, we offer prayers to the Family. Politisite provided video for the Tax Day Tea Party in 2009  for Breitbart TV as well as other projects.  Breitbart was gracious enough to link to our site on occasion as well.  He will be missed. With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart. Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles. We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior. Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to [...]

Anthony Weiner Used $13,000 in Campaign Cash to Hire Private Investigators During Scandal

Anthony Weiner Used $13,000 in Campaign Cash to Hire Private Investigators During Scandal

Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner used more than $13,000 in campaign funds to hire private investigators to probe the so-called “hacking” of his Twitter account — despite later taking responsibility for the leaked photos that led to his resignation from Congress. Weiner paid T&M Protective Services of Manhattan $13,290 for “legal services” in the fourth quarter of 2011, Federal Election Commission financial disclosures filed Tuesday show. But according to the New York Daily News, Weiner really hired the firm to do investigative work in the thick of the scandal last summer. via Report: Anthony Weiner Used $13,000 in Campaign Cash to Hire Private Investigators During Scandal | TheBlaze.com.

25 Least Influential People Alive

25 Least Influential People Alive

For every Steve Jobs and every Warren Buffett, there's an equal and opposite nitwit who spent 2011 devouring attention and contributing nothing to productive society. We salute the great artisans of utter uselessness with the one celebratory year-end list you don't want to be on Welcome to that other category of famous people: the ones who took up more than their fair share of oxygen and offered zero value in return, whose deeds did nothing to change lives of billions worldwide. Their one contribution to society? They make you, Mr. Everyday American, feel indispensable by comparison. This year yielded a particularly rich crop. So without further ado, meet the most useless bastards of 2011. via The 25 Least Influential People Alive: Humor: GQ. Our favorites: 3. Ed Schultz There are so [...]

Begin the Spin: Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on Loss in NY-09, “It’s a very difficult district for Democrats”.

Amazing that the only thing that the Feisty DNC chair could say was that the 9th Congressional District in New York is,  “a very difficult district for Democrats”.   She must be Kidding, Democrats have a 3 to 1 Democrat advantage in the distinct and The Cook Political Report has assigned it a PVI of D+5. There is NO objective block of information that would suggest that the district who hasn't gone GOP since 1923 is a "Difficult District for Democrats".  Conclusion:  Democrat Spin See the Election Results Here White House 2012 puts it this way: Last night’s win of Republican Bob Turner in the special election to replace disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner was a truly loud message to President Obama and Democrats. And while it does not necessarily mean that President Obama [...]

New York 9th District Special Election – Turner (R) Beating Weprin (D) in all Major Polls

New York 9th District Special Election – Turner (R) Beating Weprin (D) in all Major Polls

By Albert N. Milliron The Special Election that is to replace the Resigned Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner looks like it may flip to the GOP.  After all the Media attention to the Last New York Congressional election  on the implications of the race and what it meant to the 2012 election was widespread and exaggerated. From our position, we see the last and this election as nothing more than an unhappy electorate replacing a Congressman with the opposing party as a message that Americans are tired of amoral and lazy politicians.  While Congressman Weiner was anything but lazy, his cocky attitude as a servant of the people is not being tolerated anymore. So when the votes are all counted we expect that the Republican Turner will win by between 3-6 points. New York 9th District [...]

Republican Turner poised for big upset in New York 09

Republican Turner poised for big upset in New York 09

Republican Bob Turner is poised to pull a huge upset in the race to replace Anthony Weiner as the Congressman from New York's 9th Congressional District.  He leads Democrat David Weprin 47-41 with Socialist Workers candidate Christopher Hoeppner at 4% and 7% of voters remaining undecided. Turner's winning in a heavily Democratic district for two reasons: a huge lead with independents and a large amount of crossover support.  He's ahead by 32 points at 58-26 with voters unaffiliated with either major party.  And he's winning 29% of the Democratic vote, holding Weprin under 60% with voters of his own party, while losing just 10% of Republican partisans. If Turner wins on Tuesday it will be largely due to the incredible unpopularity of Barack Obama dragging his party down in the [...]

GOP winning in New York 9th Congressional "Weiner" District Special Election

Another congressman resigns over Sexting, What is it with Northeast Democrats?

Or "Holder of Smartphone not to Smart" Breaking News from the Press of AC: Cumberland County Freeholder Director William Whelan has asked Freeholder Louis N. Magazzu to resign after nude photos of Magazzu were posted to a website. “I just think Lou’s behavior is awful,” Whelan said on Tuesday. “We need to address it. None of us can resign for him. I hope he makes the right decision.” If this story had not made the media, Whelan would still be sitting with his thumbs up his anus, refusing to take proper action. Furthermore: Whelan said he would assign Freeholders James A. Dunkins, a Democrat, and Thomas Sheppard, a Republican, to review the situation. The Freeholders will also appoint three people to revive the county’s dormant ethics panel, Whelan said. The ethics panel [...]
