MSM: Being Gay more important than Benghazi

MSM: Being Gay more important than Benghazi

by Joe Keck Diane Sawyer of ABC hit the airways running with the news that Jason Collins, pro basketball star, is gay. It was her first mention among reporting on the Boston bombing and other newsworthy items. George Stephanopoulos, also of ABC, had a long interview with Collins about his homosexuality as well, a segment with the NBA player lasting more than five minutes. That's long interview in news time. USA Today, The Washington Post, The NY Times, The Huffington Post, just about every news outlet in the known universe thinks that someone making an admission that goes against the grain of what we would expect is big news. And I suppose it is a bit shocking that an Athlete on a major American sports team is gay, so, of course the Mainstream Media would cover it. Kind of like [...]

Meghan McCain gracefully conquers Ann Coulter

Meghan McCain gracefully conquers Ann Coulter's death wish with fierce dignity On April 12, Meghan McCain tweeted a series of dignified responses on her Twitter account to officially put an end to the morbid controversy generated by the reprehensible murder suggestion remark directed toward her from political pundit Ann Coulter, who refused to apologize for the abhorrent comment in an April 11 appearance on the Fox News Channel “Hannity” program. Ann Coulter originally made the contemptible statement in a column offering Meghan McCain as her personal choice for a family member of a Republican senator who could be killed to generate greater sympathy for gun control bills currently being debated in the U.S. Senate. Coulter claimed the revolting comment was in response to a gruesome [...]

Israel Visit a Bust for Obama

Israel Visit a Bust for Obama

By Amanda Hill After over four years in office, President Obama has conducted his first state visit to Israel, meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Since it was the Presidents first visit to Americas ally, media coverage was extensive and opinionated. U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  REUTERS/Nir Elias As an American citizen that is not only concerned about the freedom of my country but the freedom of the free world; Obama’s visit seemed extremely useless and fruitless. Of course seeing as the President has never visited Israel prior, and has only hosted the Israeli Prime Minister to Washington once, it seems the President was un-reluctantly pressured into visiting Israel because of the escalating situation in Iran, [...]

CBS ‘Amazing Race’ apologizes for Hanoi episode – Video

Thanks to Bob Beckel and others at Fox News "The Five" for speaking out about the Amazing Race featuring a downed American B-52 in their reality show.  CBS Has Apologized to Vietnam Veterans and the American People for its poor judgement   That was "The Five" co-host Bob Beckel's take on CBS's apology for an “Amazing Race" episode set in Hanoi, Vietnam that many found abhorrent. “I think it’s belated to say the least,” Beckel said on 'Fox & Friends' Monday morning. “ they did it at the right time… in prime time.” On the March 17 episode, the twisted metal of a downed American bomber was treated as any other prop, with a bright "Amazing Race" "Double-U-Turn" signed planted in front of it, signifying to contestants the next phase of their scavenger [...]

MSNBC is the Number One Cable News Channel – Pew

MSNBC is the Number One Cable News Channel – Pew

If you are looking for the number one cable news channel, turn to MSNBC.  MSNBC is number one in opinion based news. A Pew Study examined Cable news and found that MSNBC (who calls Fox News the Media arm of the Republican Party) is clearly the most opinionated (see graph). If you’re like most cable news viewers, you probably think the channel you favor has a monopoly on the facts and the other ones are nothing more than a bunch of ranting. In fact, which cable network is the most opinionated is not a matter of opinion. It’s MSNBC. A full 85% of the Comcast-owned network’s coverage can be classified as opinion or commentary rather than straight news, according to the authors of the Pew Research Center’s annual State of the News Media report. CNN and Fox News Channel, [...]
