The New Yorker Magazine Performs A Disservice For The American People
The New Yorker magazine still compares the 44th Presidency with the 43rd Presidency - President Obama needs to be able to be compared with his record. President George W. Bush and President-elect Barack Obama meet in the Oval Office of the White House Monday, November 10, 2008. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor THE NEW YORKER ENDORSES OBAMA in a four-page editorial, "The Choice," by "The Editors," taking up the full "The Talk of the Town" space: "Obama ... did not always prove particularly adept at, or engaged by, the arts of retail persuasion, and his dream of bipartisanship collided with the reality of obstructionism. Perhaps inevitably, the President has disappointed some of his most ardent supporters. Part of their disappointment is a reflection [...]

President Obama’s Daily Show Appearance – “Not Optimal”
By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor President Obama paid a call on “The Daily Show” taped for tonight, Thursday, submitting himself to the ritual of acerbic host Jon Stewart’s mix of tough questions and mock serious quips in an effort to reach a wide audience of potential voters less than three weeks before the election. Stewart made Obama laugh several times, but he also pressed Obama on why his administration appeared “confused” in its response to the terror attacks on American diplomatic personnel in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11. The White House first said the attacks were in response to an anti-Muslim Internet video before later calling it a terrorist attack. “We weren’t confused about the fact that four Americans had been killed,” Obama [...]

Three Franklin County residents face felony charges of voter fraud after the Board of Elections reported that they had voted more than once in a past election. Mr. President, Fire Your Secretary Of State
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton takes full responsibility on Libya as per Wendell Goler, Fox News reporter traveling with the Secretary in Peru. Image Credit: For America By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor Yesterday afternoon, Fox News registered a live report from Peru. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told Wendell Goler, who was traveling with the Clinton press corps, that the buck stops with her, that she is responsible for security of all United States Embassies. Clinton seemed Monday to back up Biden's claims, saying decisions about diplomatic security are made by her department. "I'm responsible for the State Department, for the more than 60,000 people around the world," she said. "The decisions about security are made by security professionals. But we're going to [...]
The Obama October Surprise Has Exploded With A Whimper And Not A Bang
By: Edmund Jenks - West Coast Editor (reprinted with permission - Soopermexican.com) Liberals have gone absolutely insane after snorting bathsalts under the name of “Sensata.” Supposedly, Romney is responsible for what Bain does 12 years after he left it, and Obama is not responsible at all for 4 years of failed economic policy. And what is their claim? That Romney’s blind trust has holdings in this company that is off-shoring jobs from Illinois to China. Pretty devastating. The only way this could be a dud is if Obama owned stock in this company as well… For many sophisticated and wealthy investors, as well as for ordinary workers invested in pension funds, China is a part of any diversified investment strategy. President Obama, a former Illinois state [...]

Can Romney Win without Ohio?
Ohio proved decisive in President George W. Bush’s victory over John Kerry in 2004, and its sizable swing in favor of Barack Obama in 2008 exemplified the dramatic shift to the left that gripped the country that year. This cycle, the state has proven particularly tough ground for Romney, and much of the coverage of the fight for Ohio suggests that without the Buckeye State, Romney has no chance of winning the presidency. In fact, even if he loses Ohio, Romney still has a chance, but it would require some wins in other states that have proven tough for Republicans in recent cycles. And an Obama win in Ohio remains a distinct possibility, perhaps even a probability. Even as Romney’s numbers have surged nationally and in almost every key swing state, Obama is holding onto a slim lead [...]
What happens if there is a 269-269 Tie in the Electoral College?- Election 2012
With the 2012 Presidential getting closer just a few weeks before election day, folks are beginning to wonder what would happen if their were a 269-269 electoral vote tie in the electoral college. 269-269 Electoral Vote tie - Mitt Romney (red) and Barack Obama (blue). Image from CNN's Electoral College calculator. This week Real Clear Politics and other Electoral Map assemblers have removed nearly 50 electoral votes from the Obama column, leaving just a 20 vote difference between Obama and Romney. While no one wants there to be a crisis in the electoral college, there appears to be several scenarios that allow for such a tie. We came across an analysis article by the Washington Examiners Philip Klein. Here is what he had to say: As Mitt Romney continues to make gains in [...]
