How The Federal Government Forgot Who Was Boss

In the Declaration of Independence our forefathers clearly established what the role of the federal government was supposed to be. A government for the people, by the people, and of the people was to serve the public. As opposed to a non-representative government that now passes laws that the majority are opposed to, has put the country 7 trillion dollars further in debt for partisan reasons under the Obama White House, and who now characterizes our founding fathers as terrorists is the new plague upon the nation! This government has done to the American people exactly what our founders wanted to prevent. We are now ruled by an all knowing, all seeing form of tyranny that uses police state tactics to invade our privacy and has the power to detain us without a court order.

Definition of lawlessness

The very thing that the patriots from the 13 Colonies found so abhorrent has settled among us like the E-bola virus. Instead of federal government with limited powers that allowed the states to fashion their own regional decisions, this White House wants to dissolve state lines and make the central government the a utopia of ultimate control. It is from this framework that the Obama Administration pursues any means it can to enact unconstitutional laws either by ignoring Congressional purview or using regulatory actions by draconian agencies like the EPA to implement policy that could not be voted into existence. This is the very definition of fascism, and why as the public sleeps their freedoms are being steadily undermined by sold out officials and office holders hostile to the cause of American exceptionalism as if the historic evidence of failure by the depots never existed.

Famous Words

When asked about what the Continental Congress had achieved during its deliberations, Benjamin Franklin told a fellow citizen who had inquired, “what we have done is given you a republic if you can keep it.” Those words should ring tragically through the halls of the Senate with all of the bills proposed by the GOP Congress that were tabled by Harry Reid in order to prevent Republicans from turning back President Obama’s assault against a crumbling nation he obviously despises. Still the steady decline of America goes on as the people sleep at the wheel. Today our federal government refuses to even protect our own borders.

Failure of checks and balances

If our forefathers intended citizens of America to be served by the federal government, what does that mean exactly? It means that our government can best serve the people through providing the basic services needed and playing a limited role as states pass their own laws as to how they see fit to govern their constituencies. By avoiding centrally sanctioned rule government serves the people by staying out of their personal business and allowing the freedom of making their own decisions. Yet, the present administration along with those before it has sanctioned a compulsory form of social control that far exceeds anything the framers of our original Constitution ever intended. The assault goes on as the checks and balances guaranteed by our government to police itself have evaporated thanks to the cowardice of a Supreme Court who allowed Obamacare to stand as law of the land.

Who the government really serves

By contributing their taxes, by observing the laws, earning a livelihood, and by being legal US citizens Americans find themselves in a minority as those who want to use this land for their own purposes, have no allegiance to our nation, and want to get free medical, food, and educational assistance, are given preferred status by the federal government. The power of the people has been usurped by a fascist leadership that despises the history and exceptionalism of the American heritage. President Obama presides over this transfer of power, this quiet yet orchestrated coup that has taken place. He has lied, misrepresented, and deceived Americans over what his ultimate intentions were. This President has failed black Americans, he has fiscally endangered this country, he has destabilized our society with race baiting and class warfare as he demonizes earned prosperity, the very stuff that the American dream is made of.

When the death knell came

When the US federal government decided that it was more important than the people it was to serve and protect, America ceased to be America anymore. When the federal government decided that it should be served by the people instead of the other way around, the ideal vision of our forefathers was cast into a tomb never to see the light of day as the collectivists wanted because such ideals as freedom are dangerous concepts for the progressives and terrorcrats to deal with. Because it is precisely those concepts that can liberate a dying republic and awaken a sleeping public who foolishly trusted those they voted in to protect their interests without involving themselves in the process.

A quotable quote

Though the following quote has been attributed to Thomas Jefferson, the evidence points to it being written by John Basil Barnhill,” when the people fear government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty.” I ask you if this indeed is not the case today as Americans have allowed their government to roll over them without even blinking an eye. Our founding fathers knew that democracies were merely legally sanctioned lynch mobs that die quick and violent deaths as opposed to the republic which our framers in their great wisdom chose as the guidepost for future generations of Americans. Wake up people the hour is late.
