Washington Times reports that Eric Holder may resign this year! At least that is what he told Jeffrey Toobin in its magazine edition. The question is whether he should have resigned earlier than planned? Holder has been under a spate of controversial decisions and involvement in a myriad of happenings during his tenure as America’s first Black Attorney General. He has either denied or been saved by Obama’s executive orders. Nonetheless, Holder has become a liability for Obama.
The Root reports: Holder, a graduate of Columbia Law School, first joined the U.S. Justice Department in 1976 and was appointed to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in 1988 by President Ronald Regan. He would later join the Clinton administration as a Deputy Attorney General in 1997, the first African-American to hold that position. After the Clinton years, Holder practiced at a private firm before joining the presidential campaign of Barack Obama.
In November, 20 House Republicans filed articles for impeachment against Holder after he was found in contempt of Congress for failing to release documents related to Operation Fast and Furious. Holder had taken unnecessary interest in Trayvon Martin and Zimmerman case where he directed quite a few resources. But the most remarkable ones have been Holder’s denial of knowledge and involvement in Fast and Furious, Media Snooping Scandal and IRS. He, in fact has insisted on making DOJ a personal tool for vendetta for his far-left beliefs. In short, Holder has been the front man for Obama’s implementation of questionable policies.
