Nix ‘Criminal Minds’ type profiling: Holder’s Perfect Cure for Terrorism

America’s DOJ and Attorney General have been showing signs of senility for a while but with their latest PC, they seem to have lost it finally. Together, they have found the perfect cure for nabbing terrorists and criminals especially ones who are relentlessly working on the demise of America and whatever it stands for. Surely, terrorists and plotters and criminals must love America’s DOJ and their true brother Eric Holder, who never fails to extend whatever help he can in NOT trying to catch them! Department of Justice, far from working for the citizens of America has instead become a tool for personal vendetta for years of angst by people against a country which ironically is also letting them to do this. In its latest move that basically reduces to dust any law enforcement and intelligence findings, is the declaration that Federal Agents cannot use any judgement of any kind to figure out who is planning to harm or attack or terrorize the country, DOJ and Eric Holder have finally discovered the most novel way of catching terrorists and criminals; just don’t do anything and they will go away!

DOJ Relaxes Rules for Terrorists

New York Times reports: The Justice Department will significantly expand its definition of racial profiling to prohibit federal agents from considering religion, national origin, gender and sexual orientation in their investigations. The move addresses a decade of criticism from civil rights groups that say federal authorities have in particular singled out Muslims in counterterrorism investigations and Latinos for immigration investigations. The Bush administration banned profiling in 2003, but with two caveats: It did not apply to national security cases, and it covered only race, not religion, ancestry or other factors. Since taking office, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. has been under pressure from Democrats in Congress to drop those provisions. “These exceptions are a license to profile American Muslims and Hispanic-Americans,” said Senator Richard J. Durbin. Maybe Durbin should consider leaving the Senate for some permanent retirement time with family and friends preferably outside Illinois. Maybe he should figure out a way to lead Illinois out of its debt instead of pandering to issues that could require some thinking. Or maybe Durbin is in dire need of a few votes?

By expanding the definition of racial profiling, the Justice Department is taking political correctness to a whole new, and potentially dangerous level. Federal Agents will be prohibited from “considering religion, national origin, gender and sexual orientation in their investigations.” Essentially, Federal Agents can sit in their chairs and play guessing games with faceless, nameless, and non-existent characters because anyone they zero in will look and feel like a human! Nonetheless, those wronged with suspicion, cannot be targeted because they will most probably belong to some country or religion or creed or gender! Federal Agents can catch everybody or not catch anybody; it will be the same. Nobody can be targeted, nobody can be deemed suspicious, nobody can be profiled, nobody can be caught. It’s miller time for all extremists, radicals and terrorists, wherever they maybe. Perhaps some can lurk right outside Eric Holder’s office, plotting and reveling at leisure, without fear. Terrorism has found its true American friends!
