Megan Silverstram, a public safety official with Cumberland County tells News 8 that everyone on the bus was taken to various hospitals as a precaution. Three people were flown to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of more serious injuries.
The lacrosse team was on the way to Lancaster for a 1 p.m. game against Millersville University which has been canceled.
UPDATE 3: Pregnant coach, driver killed
CARLISLE, Pa. – A bus carrying a college’s women’s lacrosse team crashed in central Pennsylvania Saturday, killing the driver and the team’s pregnant coach.
Authorities say 30-year-old Kristina Quiqley of Greensburg died at a hospital from injuries from the crash. Quiqley was about six months pregnant, and her unborn child did not survive.
The other victim, 61-year-old driver Anthony Guaetta of Johnstown, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Two other victims were flown to a hospital, and the other 19 people aboard the bus were taken to the other hospitals as a precaution.

UPDATE 2: The Cumberland County Coroner says a two people have died from their injuries from this crash.
Two people were killed and 21 others injured in a bus crash this morning on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Carlisle. The bus was chartered by Seton Hill University and was headed east.
Three of the injured were taken by helicopter to Hershey Medical Center. According to Cumberland County Public Information Officer Megan Silverstrim, eight were transported to Carlisle Regional Medical Center, seven to Harrisburg Hospital and four to Holy Spirit. The injuries ranged from serious to minor.
The crash happened about 8:52 am. All of the injured were enroute to medical facilities in less than 40 minutes. The cause is under investigation by State Police.
The Department of Environmental Protection is also on the scene to monitor a fuel spill.

Seton Hill University Releases Statement:
“At approximately 9:00 a.m. this morning a bus carrying the Seton Hill University’s women’s lacrosse team was in an accident that occurred in Cumberland County, PA. The accident occurred on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Carlisle, PA. The bus was chartered through Mlaker Charter and Tours of Davidsville, PA. The team was traveling to an NCAA-II match at Millersville University.The University understands that at least three individuals were injured seriously and transported by medical helicopters and/or ambulances. Those three individuals were taken to Hershey Medical Center. According to Cumberland County Public Information Officer Megan Silverstrim, other individuals with minor injuries were transported as follows: eight were taken to Carlisle Regional Medical Center, seven to Harrisburg Hospital and four to Holy Spirit Hospital.
Seton Hill administrators used the E-2 Campus system, campus e-mail and phone calls to communicate the seriousness of the accident to students on campus. The University’s Associate Dean of Students is en route to Cumberland County to assist students and their families.
Counseling services are available for students and members of the Seton Hill community beginning immediately and will continue to be available.”
