Hizzoner yesterday crudely praised the vice president’s fortitude by bluntly saying that the veep used some big brass to speed up President Obama’s embrace of gay marriage.
“You know, Joe Biden, you can joke about him all you want, [but] he’s got a set of balls and he says what he believes,” Bloomberg told Politico. “And he forced the focus [on gay marriage].”
Bloomberg’s praise notwithstanding, the veep reportedly apologized to Obama for staking a position on gay marriage before the president could make his own opinion public.
