If any of you wondered why Obama got nearly ten percent more time during Tuesdays Town Hall debate, it was because President Obama speaks slower than Romney and needed more time to respond to questions.
You see, Romney got more words in even though he got less time. We are wondering why there wasn’t a word counter instead of a timer for the debate if ones word count was to be a factor.
This is a laughable explanation of the reasons behind Candy Crowley’s intervention during the debate to cut off Romney while making valid points about the effectiveness of Obama’s last four years in office. But so goes the mainstream media these days.
Here is a portion of the CNN internal memo:
On why Obama got more time to speak, it should be noted that Candy and her commission producers tried to keep it even but that Obama went on longer largely because he speaks more slowly. We’re going to do a word count to see whether, as in Denver, Romney actually got more words in even if he talked for a shorter period of time.”
