President Obama won’t agree to a tax cut because the Republicans want, along with tax cuts for the middle class, tax cuts for what he calls, “the wealthy” also.
So, what ‘s the problem?
Isn’t it just common sense that if Bob gets a tax cut then Jenny should as well?
Divide and conquer. That’s his strategy.
If middle class Americans get to keep more of the hard earned fruits of their labor, why shouldn’t upper class Americans get to keep more of the hard-earned fruits of their labor?
“Well, but the rich already have money.”
Yes, so do the middle class, just not as much of it.
“But the rich have more, and they have nicer houses, and they have more expensive cars, and, so, well, since they have more of the good things in life, then . . . uh . . .”
“BUSH IS HITLER!”
If I have a hundred dollars and you have a thousand dollars, and the government is taking half from each of us, it seems to me that if the government takes 20 percent less from me they should also take 20 percent less from you.
But the Liberal thinks differently. He has the idea, that if you drive a Cadillac, then somehow your money is up for grabs. Now, if you drive a Chevrolet, well then, that’s different. Hands off.
Divide and conquer.
That comes from the infantile notion that a Cadillac driver has a better quality of life than a Chevrolet driver and therefore, if we take a Cadillac driver’s money, it “Fair.” It somehow levels out the quality of life for both the rich and the poor, thus “evening the playing field.”
Those of us who are conservative in our politics, a.k.a., rational, know the above is utter stupidity as well as economic poison.
For one thing, it doesn’t ‘level’ anything, much less some idiotic illusion of a quality of life. It merely takes from one and not the other.
Note to the Liberal: Money doesn’t equal happiness.
For another thing, it causes resentment and class warfare among a people who are suppose to be united and working together to grow our country so that more and more of us can go from Chevrolet drivers to Cadillac drivers.
Finally – and most importantly – it makes the Cadillac driver raise the price of his manufactured goods or services, causing the Chevrolet driver to have to pay more, which lowers the quality of life for the Chevrolet driver. And, as an added bonus for the Liberal, it chips away at prosperity, showing the individual that the more you make, the more they’ll take.
And that, of course, results in the Chevrolet driver seeing the futility of aspiring to be a Cadillac driver.
How is 1 person forcibly taking someone else’s money thievery, yet 535 persons forcibly taking everyone’s money compassion?
The Liberals don’t want to let The People keep the bulk of their money, because they are afraid they won’t be charitable enough with it. They are afraid The People will not ‘Help their fellow man’ to their satisfaction. Apparently, they think that The American People are a nation of heartless, greedy, self-serving and uncaring takers.
So the solution they came up with, is to take the money The American People sweated for and do with it as The Government sees fit. The Feds need to make sure our money is properly distributed, properly spent on good things, like funding abortions, contraceptives, artists who put Crucifixes in urine, grants to study penis size in the Gay community, you know, vital things like that.
All of the above are actual government spent dollars.
We can’t be trusted with our own earnings, you see. Only the kind, benevolent, and caring Government can.
When Obama says that he doesn’t want tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, he is dividing us, the wealthy from the middle class, the rich from the poor.
Divide and conquer.
When his justice department refuses to prosecute club-toting black thugs standing outside of voting stations, when he uses phrases like “Typical white person” he is dividing us black from white. When he makes references to the idea that women are smarter than men, when he strives for giving the female special legislation just because of her gender, he is dividing women from men.
I think we should follow his example.
This November, let’s divide Barack Obama from the Oval office. If we do that, perhaps we will have the chance to allow freedom and the American dream of individual achievement to once again flourish and prosper this great nation.
It’s time to divide and conquer the Divider in Chief.
