Michigan Congressman McCotter to run as a write-in candidate, being investigated

By Albert N. Milliron, Politisite.com

Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotters campaign made a terrible mistake (or was it) by submitting photocopied signatures to qualify for re-election.

As you are aware, McCotter had a short lived failed attempt at the Presidential election.  Seems that his staff may have just been a bit lazy and did not get the 1000 signatures required to qualify for his ability to appear on the ballot.

We think McCotter has a greater level of integrity than to submit false signatures and wondering who he enlisted to perform this duty.

The Board of election is calling this potential fraud.  McCotter must now become a write-in candidate.

Now if his name were ‘Mike Smith’ this wouldn’t be Much of a problem.  Step back from the computer and write (without looking now)  this congressman name?   How did you do?

We know it is possible for a peculiar  name to make an attempt at a Write-in (remember Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski), but it will be difficult.

Congressman Thaddeus McCotter will run as a write-in candidate after a problem with his petition resulted in a large number of signatures being thrown out.
