Iowa Republican Presidential Caucus Preference

American Research Group’s poll for November 2011 shows that Newt Gingrich has taken a seven point lead over Mitt Romney in Iowa among likely caucus goers. The poll shows Newt Gingrich at 27%, Mitt Romney at 20%, Ron Paul at 16% Herman Cain/Michelle Bachmann at 6% and Rick Perry at just 5%.

The knives should be coming out pretty soon on Newt Gingrich as he gets closer scrutiny.   While the Obama Campaign is exchanging niceties with Mitt Romney, it shouldn’t be long to see something coming in the direction of Newt Gingrich.

New ARG poll from Iowa shows Gingrich 27, Romney 20, Paul 16, Santorum/Cain/Bachmann at 6%, and Rick Perry at just 5%
