Demographer Greg Rigamer projects that Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has cruised to re-election.

The gubernatorial race failed to attract any well-known or well-funded opposition to oust the popular Republican from office.

Jindal was easily outpacing a field of nine competitors in the early election returns Saturday night.

  1. Thanks for the Comment Rene. I know I am covering your neck of the woods tonight. Seems the Sec of state site was down for about an hour. I learned my lesson after Drudge linked to one of our stories. We got 100K in 4 hours. Drudged served us 3 times that and my site could handle it. We learned what Virtual Private Servers are and that unlimited is not really unlimited LOL. Hope you are well.
