Maxine Waters says “The Tea Party Can Go Straight To Hell”

At a town hall meeting in Inglewood, California Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters made the following statement, “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned — the tea party can go straight to hell.”

The response from the crowd in Inglewood was very favorable and it was apparent that many in the audience possessed the same sentiment.

The former chair of the Congressional Black Caucus has raised a few eyebrows lately and received a great deal of press for her outspoken criticism of President Obama.

Earlier in the week from Waters, “We’re supportive of the president, but we’re getting tired. … The unemployment is unconscionable (and) we don’t know what the strategy is.”
