Iowa to make decision who will be on ballot for Ames straw poll

The Republican Party of Iowa will make a decision July 23 about who will be on the ballot for its Ames straw poll, spokesman Casey Mills said today.

I asked him about the deadline after fielding a question from a friend in the national media. Mills said criteria for inclusion in the Aug. 13 straw poll and the party’s Aug. 11 debate with Fox News will be released later.
