Rep. Davis drops out of Chicago mayor race

An Illinois congressman says he dropped out of the Chicago mayoral race in order to bolster the campaign of another contender, former Sen. Carol Moseley Braun.

The departure of Rep. Danny Davis, D-Ill., leaves Moseley Braun as the only African-American candidate in the race to succeed outgoing Mayor Richard Daley.
