Rush Limbaugh Went to High School with Koran Burning Pastor

Oh I just love this guilt by sitting in the same High School class.  Wonder why the left didn’t give the same weight to Barack Obama sitting in Jeremiah Wrights Church for twenty years.  Leave it to Keith Olbermann to make these connections without looking at the political implications

And now we have the latest moronic MSNBC smear tactic. Via William Jacobson:

Guilt by high school classmate.

Yes, the left has found a way to play the Rush Limbaugh card in the Koran-burning case:

Terry Jones, the Florida pastor threatening to burn a Koran tomorrow on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, was a high school classmate of Rush Limbaugh.

…MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann was one of the first to call attention to the Limbaugh/Jones nexus when he posted news of it on Twitter overnight: ” ‘Rev.’ Terry Jones was classmate of none other than Rush Limbaugh (Cape Central class of ’69). Coincidence?”

Liberal rules of association:

1) It’s beyond the bounds to point out an intimate, 20-year relationship between Barack Obama and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

2) It’s not only acceptable, but de rigeur, to hype Rush Limbaugh’s fellow high school alum.

As if you needed any more proof of the bankruptcy of the “news” media, this “story” is now the number one post on Memeorandum.
