Unemployment Rates: Republican Majority vs. Democrat Majority

By way of Red State, here’s a chart from a spreadsheet at the Bureau of Labor Statistics website.

Republicans controlled the House from January 1995 to December 2006. Democrats have had control of the House since January of 2007:

almost mirrors that of the House during those years as well.

This is a great trend, if you’re of the mindset of Nancy Pelosi and believe that unemployment checks create jobs faster than any other initiative.

How much more “reinvestment and recovery” and “quality and affordable” can we take?
