Alert Issued for AWOL Afghan Soldiers from Lackland AFB Texas

Fox news reported Thursday that seventeen Afghan soldiers who went AWOL from Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

The soldiers have U.S. Military Identification and have the ability to enter other Military Bases.  This comes after security had been breached at Fort Gordon and Fort Gilliam Georgia.

United States military investigators are asking law enforcement to be on the lookout for 17 Afghan military members who disappeared while training in Texas. An Air Force spokesman said on Friday that the Afghans disappeared from Lackland Air Force Base one by one over the last 18 months. He said the men were not believed to be connected to one another or to any terrorist group.
