From a friend on the Hill, Sen. Harry Reid’s version of “comprehensive Immigration Reform as of 1994 (a longish PDF here): Cut legal immigration, beef up border enforcement, end asylum abuse, and strengthen the ban on hiring illegals by providing counterfeit-proof IDs. Strangely, no mention of a path to citizenship. Sounds okay to me — where do I sign up, Harry?
